To meet its goal, AXA needed to set-up a strategic data lake with the objective to centralize all data in one place so that the data users have access to the most recent and accurate data in real time.
As a main partner of the Enterprise Data Office (EDO), Business & Decision (B&D) federated several transversal BI initiatives and liaised between AXA’s different business and IT units. The principal purpose of the EDO is to ensure transversal and corporate data management to the highest quality data governance standards.
Additionally, B&D supported AXA to futureproof the data lake and the roll-out of reporting with new visualization tools and dashboards for several business lines as well as several other data management initiatives.
